Work of Heart started out as a Scot and an Emirati having fun knitting in the desert! Our numbers grew.
Wherever we crafted in public, people were curious. We kept spare hooks, needles and wool in our bags and taught. It grew like wildfire!
We taught ladies in labour camps. Cleaners in schools. Mothers on trains.
These women found crochet relaxing. It also taught them practical skills to help them make new clothes or more money.
Focusing on making something with your hands uses a different part of the brain to the part which worries!
We decided to go pro and share ourselves with a name. Work of Heart was born!
